Annie was feeling quite blue, new school was starting, what to do? Her little brother Sandy, so carefree and bright, tried to cheer her up with all his might. "Don't worry, Annie, it'll be fun!" he said. But Annie just sighed and shook her head. Then one night, as she lay in bed, a strange light from the closet spread.

Annie was curious, she couldn't ignore, the light from the closet, what was in store? She tiptoed closer, her heart a-flutter, and opened the door with a quiet mutter. Inside was a glow, so warm and bright, it pulled her in with all its might. Sandy peeked in, his eyes wide with wonder, "What's happening, Annie?" he asked with a thunder. Together they stepped, hand in hand, into a magical, mysterious land.

They found themselves in a forest so grand, colors swirling all around, like a rainbow band. Trees were purple, leaves were gold, the sight was a wonder to behold. The bird's name was Chirpy, so wise and true, he promised to teach them something new.

Annie took a deep breath, held Sandy's hand tight, together they crossed, feeling just right. On the other side, they cheered with delight, "We did it!" Annie beamed, her heart felt light. "Courage grows with each step," Chirpy said, "just like this, keep moving ahead."

Next, they found a meadow, with puzzles to solve, Annie's mind raced, her thoughts evolved. "You can do it," Chirpy encouraged with cheer, "think it through, the answer is near." Sandy clapped his hands, "Let's give it a try!" Annie thought hard, reaching for the sky. Piece by piece, they solved the riddle, and the meadow bloomed, right in the middle. "See, you are smart," Chirpy said with pride, "never doubt what's inside."

"Courage is yours," Chirpy's voice echoed clear, "face the world, without any fear."

The next day at school, Annie felt bold, her heart was warm, no longer cold. Sandy waved goodbye, with a cheerful shout, "You'll do great, without a doubt!" Annie smiled, stepped into class, her courage strong, ready to pass. She made new friends, learned so much, her fears were gone, with a gentle touch. "Courage is magic," she thought with glee, "just like the journey, that set me free."
