A witch controls the seasons, making sure that they all come and leave when they are meant to. But, sometimes when it was winter it wouldn't snow, or in summer hail would come about. Soon she finds the witch of weather. And soon, a friendship sprung, the both of them helping to make the weather and seasons match up perfectly

In a land where seasons danced, Saison had a glance. The summer sun with winter's snow, made her frown, made her low. 'Why, oh why?' she often sighed, 'Does the weather seem to hide?' Autumn leaves in spring's bright day, made the children cease their play. Seven times she wondered so, eight times saw the misplaced snow.

The Mismatched Seasons

In the forest, deep and wide, Soleil with her hair so red, beside. 'Help me, please,' Saison did plead, 'I seek the witch, to fix this deed.' Together then, they formed a team, eight dreams shared, and one big dream. Seven forests crossed, they finally found, a cabin, where magic bound.

A Friend in the Forest

The witch was old, with wisdom vast, her eyes on both, they held fast. 'Why does winter come with sun? Why does summer hail, just for fun?' They asked her, with hope so bright, eight questions through the night. 'My magic's old, sometimes it slips,' she sighed, 'causing these seasonal flips.'

The Witch of Weather

'Stay with me,' the witch then said, 'Learn the spells, to fix ahead.' Saison and Soleil, agreed with glee, seven spells to learn, then three. They studied hard, both night and day, to bring the seasons back in play. Eight weeks passed, their skills grew strong, ready to right the weather's wrong.

Learning the Magic

Their first test came, one summer's night, when snow fell down, a worrying sight. 'Now, let's see,' said Saison with might, 'To make this wrong a right.' Together they chanted, seven words strong, and the snow ceased, before too long. Eight cheers from the town, so loud and proud, for the seasons matched, no more shroud.

The First Test
