Brandon shared stories with Barkley about their new house.  It has a pool and a big back yard for them to play.
Barkley was sad, he was going to miss all his neighborhood friends.
He wondered if he would have any new friends at his new house.
What if Brandon made new friends?  What if the house was too small and there was no room for a puppy?
Tomorrow was moving day and a new chapter for the family.
Dad, mom, Brandon and Barkley jumped in the car and headed to the new house.
The moving truck was right behind.
As they pulled into the new neighborhood Barkley's eyes got big, it was a big house!
Brandon and Barkley jumped out of the car as soon as dad pull into the driveway.
They ran through the front door and stopped and looked at each other.
Barkley began barking and running in circles, so much room to play!!!!
As Brandon opened the back door Barkley ran and jumped in the pool!!!
SPLASH! WOOF WOOF!! I love my new house!!!!
Barkley stepped out of the pool soaking wet and he began to shake getting Brandon all wet.
They laughed and Brandon gave him a big hug.
You will always be my best friend Barkley!!!

Barkley moves into a new house

Barkley wagged his tail as Brandon scratched behind his ears. "We're moving to a new house, Barkley!" Brandon explained excitedly. "It has a pool and a big backyard for us to play in!"

The Big News

Barkley's ears drooped as he thought about leaving his neighborhood friends. He wondered if he would make new friends at the new house. What if Brandon made new friends and forgot about him?

Worried Thoughts

The next morning, Dad loaded the last box into the car. Mom, Dad, Brandon, and Barkley all climbed in, ready for their new adventure. The moving truck followed closely behind as they drove away from their old home.

Moving Day Arrives

Barkley pressed his nose against the window, watching the scenery change. Brandon patted his head gently. "You're going to love our new home, boy," he whispered.

Journey to the New House

As they pulled into the new neighborhood, Barkley's eyes grew wide. The house was much bigger than their old one! His tail began to wag with excitement.

First Impressions

Brandon and Barkley jumped out of the car as soon as Dad parked in the driveway. They raced through the front door and stopped, looking at each other in amazement.

Exploring Inside

Barkley began barking and running in circles around the empty living room. There was so much space to play! His paws slid on the smooth wooden floors as he zoomed around.

Room to Play

Brandon opened the back door, and Barkley dashed outside. The backyard was even bigger than Brandon had described, with green grass and tall trees.

Discovering the Backyard

Without hesitation, Barkley ran straight for the swimming pool and jumped in with a splash! "WOOF WOOF!" he barked happily, paddling around in the cool water.

Pool Party

Barkley climbed out of the pool, his white fur soaking wet. He shook himself vigorously, spraying water all over Brandon. They both laughed at the sudden shower.

Getting Wet

A friendly bark came from next door, and Barkley's ears perked up. A golden retriever wagged its tail from behind the fence. Maybe he would have new friends after all!

New Neighbors

Brandon knelt down and gave Barkley a big hug, not minding the wet fur. "You'll always be my best friend, Barkley," he promised. Barkley licked Brandon's face, knowing their friendship would never change, no matter where they lived.
