Chess Club

David was excited to start his first day at the new chess club. He had heard about it from his friends and couldn't wait to learn how to play chess. After school, he hurried to the school library where the chess club was held. He met the librarian, Ms. R, who welcomed him with a warm smile. She introduced him to the other kids in the club and handed him a chess board and pieces. David felt a surge of excitement as he sat down to learn the game.
