One night, under the moon's soft gleam, Claire had a dream, quite an odd theme. A puppy, small, with a bark so light, Fell in a well, out of sight. Claire woke with a start, heart full of fright.

The Dream Begins

The sun rose high, but Claire's heart was low, For her dream felt real, more than you know. She told her mom, with a voice so small, 'I must help that puppy, I must give my all!'

A Morning of Worry

With her mom's okay, Claire set out to find, The well from her dream, leaving no stone behind. Through fields and forests, she looked all around, Until a small, hidden well, she finally found.

The Search Begins

From the well, a cry, so weak and so small, Claire knew right then, she had to give her all. 'Hold on, little puppy, I'll save you, don't you fret,' She called down the well, her mission was set.

The Puppy's Cry

Claire thought and thought, then had a great notion, To use her scarf as a rescue rope, a brilliant motion. She tied it tight, around a big, sturdy tree, And lowered it down, as careful as can be.

A Plan of Action

The puppy grabbed on, with all his might, Claire pulled him up, with all her strength and fight. Out of the well, the puppy was free, 'Thank you, kind girl, you've saved me!'

The Rescue

The puppy wagged his tail, happy as can be, Claire hugged him tight, filled with glee. 'I'll name you Lucky, for you're lucky indeed, Together forever, that's our creed.'

A New Friend

Claire learned that day, dreams can be a guide, To help others in need, standing by their side. With empathy and courage, she became a hero so grand, Claire and Lucky, together, hand in hand.
