Clementine's Dilemma

Clementine stands in a sunny elementary school playground, her hand slightly raised as she suggests jump rope instead of stickball. Two friends smile with interest while others look surprised. A partially visible stickball bat and ball lie on the ground nearby. Other children play in the background on swings and slides.

Clementine stood quietly as her friends argued about playing stickball. Deep down, she wanted to suggest jump rope instead. "We always play what everyone else wants," she thought, twisting her medium brown hair nervously. Her heart raced as she finally spoke up, "Actually, could we try jump rope today?" To her surprise, two friends immediately agreed.
