
Etisha and Mishika met on Tuesday, 1 March 2022.  Two days later, Mishika went to invite her new neighbour for her birthday party. She was made to by her mother who said, “You must invite Etisha since she is new. She can make new friends.” And she did. Mishika and Etisha were inseparable since that day!
What bonded them was a hamster. When Mishika went to Etisha’s house, she saw her out in the garden chasing a tiny brown hamster. To her surprise, Etisha shouted at her, “Will you just stand there and stare or you might want to help too. Come and get this little thing.”
Soon, both Etisha and Mishika were running around a tiny cinnamon-coloured hamster. Finally, both managed to corner the little guy and put him in a box. “What exactly were you doing? And how come your hamster came out of the house?”, asked Mishika in between her breaths.

Mishika, with a heart full of excitement, went to invite her new neighbor, Etisha, for her birthday party. Her mother had insisted, hoping it would be a nice gesture for the new girl in the neighborhood. Little did Mishika know, this was the beginning of an inseparable friendship. When Mishika reached Etisha's house, she found her in the garden, not for a play, but on a mission.

The New Friend

To Mishika's surprise, Etisha was chasing a tiny, cinnamon-coloured hamster. 'Will you just stand there, or do you want to help?' Etisha called out. Without a second thought, Mishika jumped into action. Together, they darted around the garden, laughter filling the air as they tried to catch the swift little creature.

The Chase

After a spirited chase, Mishika and Etisha finally managed to corner the little hamster. With teamwork, they gently put him in a box. 'What exactly were you doing? And how did your hamster escape?' Mishika asked, trying to catch her breath. Etisha, with a smile, began to explain, marking the start of many stories they would share.

Caught at Last

As the sun began to set, Mishika and Etisha sat together, watching their new friend, Mr. X, safely in his box. They talked about their schools, favorite foods, and dreams. A bond was formed, not just between two girls, but with a little hamster that brought them together. From that day, they were inseparable, sharing adventures with Mr. X.
