Once upon a time, there was a wise man named The Bushcraftman. He loved teaching children about nature. One sunny day, he invited some kids to his camp. The camp was deep in the forest, surrounded by tall trees. The Bushcraftman greeted them with a warm smile. 'Today, we will learn about fire,' he said. The children were excited and curious. 'But first, we must learn to be safe,' he added.

The Bushcraftman gathered the children around a small clearing. 'To make fire, we need three things,' he explained. 'These are heat, fuel, and oxygen.' He drew a triangle in the dirt. 'Now, let's find some fuel,' he said, leading them into the forest.

They filled a bucket with water and placed it next to the fire pit. The fire pit was ready.

Soon, a small flame appeared. 'Gently blow on the flame to give it oxygen,' he said. The fire grew bigger and brighter.

Lighting the Fire

'If you get burned, cool the burn with water immediately,' he said. The children practiced moving sticks safely. 'Respect the fire, and it will respect you,' he added. They all nodded, understanding the importance of safety.

Staying Safe Around Fire

When it was time to leave, The Bushcraftman showed them how to put out the fire. 'First, spread out the burning wood,' he said. 'Then, pour water over the flames.' The children watched as the fire sizzled and smoked. 'Stir the ashes with a stick to make sure everything is out,' he added. They poured more water to be safe. 'Always make sure the fire is completely out,' he said. The fire pit was now cold and safe.

Putting Out the Fire

The children thanked The Bushcraftman for the wonderful day. 'We learned so much about fire,' one child said. 'And how to be safe,' added another. The Bushcraftman smiled proudly. 'Remember what you learned today,' he said. 'Nature is our friend, and we must respect it.' The children waved goodbye as they left the camp. They felt happy and confident, ready to share their new knowledge with others.
