According to the Quranic narrative, Habil and Qabil were the sons of Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) and his wife Hawwa (Eve). They were the first human family on Earth. Both brothers were given offerings to present to Allah, and it was ordained that Allah would accept the offering of the one who was righteous.

 Allah accepted Habil's offering but rejected Qabil's. This made Qabil jealous and angry.

In his jealousy, Qabil was consumed by the desire to harm his brother. Allah sent a raven to show Qabil how to bury the body of his brother, as the concept of death was unknown to them at that time. Qabil, overwhelmed by guilt and regret, repented and asked for forgiveness.



Habil and Qabil: A Tale of Repentance

Once upon a time, in a beautiful garden, there lived two brothers named Habil and Qabil. They were the sons of Prophet Adam and his wife Hawwa. One day, they were asked to present offerings to Allah. Habil chose the best of his crops, while Qabil picked some average fruits. When they presented their offerings, Allah accepted Habil's, but rejected Qabil's. Qabil felt a pang of jealousy and anger in his heart.

The Offering

Qabil's heart was filled with jealousy, and he couldn't bear the idea that his brother was favored over him. He started to feel angry and resentful towards Habil. This jealousy made Qabil think of doing something terrible to his brother. He couldn't sleep and his heart was heavy with envy. He knew he was feeling something bad, but he didn't know what to do about it.

The Jealousy

One day, Qabil's jealousy turned into a terrible deed. He hurt his brother Habil, and soon realized the weight of his actions. Overwhelmed with guilt and regret, Qabil couldn't bear the burden of what he had done. He felt lost and alone, not knowing how to make things right. His heart was heavy with the pain of his mistake.

The Regret

As days went by, Qabil couldn't find peace. He longed to undo what he had done, to turn back time and make things right. Then, one day, Qabil turned to Allah and asked for forgiveness. He prayed for a way to make amends. Allah, in His mercy, accepted Qabil's repentance. Qabil felt a weight lifted off his heart, and he vowed to live a better, kinder life.
