A Cry for Help

Humpty Dumpty leans forward on his wall, looking concerned as the blonde girl points upward. Above them, a frightened black and white cat clings to a higher section of the wall, meowing with distress.

"What's wrong?" asked Humpty kindly. "My cat is stuck up there," sobbed the girl, pointing to a higher part of the wall. The black and white cat meowed pitifully, too scared to move.

The Stuck Cat

Humpty Dumpty gestures reassuringly from his perch on the wall as the little girl looks up at him with a hopeful smile breaking through her tear-stained face.

Humpty Dumpty looked at the frightened cat and the sad girl. "I'll help you get your cat down," he promised. The girl smiled through her tears.

Humpty's Decision

Humpty Dumpty teeters precariously on the edge of the wall, his arm outstretched toward the cat who takes a tentative step forward. Humpty's expression shows alarm as he begins to lose his balance.

Humpty stretched out his arm toward the cat. The cat took a cautious step toward him. Suddenly, Humpty felt himself losing balance.

The Rescue Attempt

Humpty Dumpty tumbles backward through the air, arms and legs flailing. The girl stands below with her hands covering her mouth in horror as Humpty falls toward the ground where cracks begin to form in his shell.

"Oh no!" cried Humpty as he tipped backward. Down he tumbled from the high wall. The girl screamed as Humpty hit the ground with a crack.

The Great Fall

The blonde girl runs frantically, looking back over her shoulder at the broken Humpty Dumpty lying in pieces on the ground. In the distance, several of the king's men can be seen rushing toward the scene.

The girl ran to find help for poor Humpty. She returned quickly with the king's men. They rushed to where Humpty lay in pieces.

Calling for Help

The king's men kneel around the broken Humpty, carefully gathering his shell pieces. One man holds Humpty's intact face piece, which shows a mixture of fear and hope. The girl watches anxiously from nearby.

The king's men carefully gathered all of Humpty's pieces. "We'll try our best to fix you," they promised. Humpty felt scared but hopeful.

The King's Men

While the king's men work on repairing Humpty in the background, the black and white cat descends the wall on its own, leaping gracefully toward the outstretched arms of the delighted blonde girl.

While the men worked on Humpty, something amazing happened. The cat climbed down the wall all by itself! It jumped safely into the girl's arms.
