Hurricane Beryl in Jamaica

Sherrian and Milton stocking up on dry goods in their pantry, with a curious dog, Survivor, watching them.

In Jamaica, hurricane season runs from June to November every year. Sherrian and Milton, who lived in Manchester, were getting ready for Hurricane Beryl. They stocked up on dry goods like bread, Foska Oats, and Brunswick Sardines. Their dogs, Survivor and Likkle Buss, watched curiously as they filled the pantry. Most people in Jamaica didn't think the storm would hit. But Sherrian and Milton wanted to be safe. They also made sure to have plenty of water. The sky was starting to look dark and cloudy.
