I Can Do It By Myself!

Eli woke up early with a big smile. Today was a special day because Eli decided he would do everything by himself. He started by making his bed, pulling up the covers neatly. Uh, oh! The blankets weren't as neat as he'd hoped to get them. This made Eli a little sad. Mom noticed Eli struggling so she offered to help.- Eli loudly exclaimed "No, I can do it by myself". After a few tries Eli did make the bed all by himself. He felt proud and ready for more adventures!
