Igo is an Igorot. Since some other students think that he is different, he isolated himself. 

Igo the Igorot

One sunny day, Igo sat alone on a swing, watching other kids play. He felt different and alone, wishing he had a friend. James, noticing Igo's loneliness, approached him with a smile. 'Hi, I'm James! Want to play together?' Igo's face lit up with a big smile.

A New Friend

As Igo and James played, they discovered they both loved drawing and soccer. Laughing and sharing stories, Igo felt happier. He realized that even though they looked different, they had so much in common. Friendship, Igo learned, was about sharing joys and not about appearances.

Discovering Similarities

The next day, James introduced Igo to Mark, another classmate. Mark was shy but soon joined in their games. Together, they formed a trio, playing and learning from each other. Igo felt grateful for finding friends who accepted him as he was.

A New Member Joins

Igo invited James and Mark to his home to celebrate a traditional Igorot festival. They were fascinated by the different customs and foods. Laughing and dancing together, they realized that diversity made their friendship stronger. Igo felt proud to share his culture and happy to be accepted.
