Casey is an 8 year old boy who longs to fit in. As he grows older, he notices he is not like the other children and wonders why he is so sensitive in comparison to others around him. 
Casey begins a journey of of self discovery as he gets to know himself better and realises being different is his strength!

It's Hard Being 8

Casey was excited about his friend Alex's birthday party. All his classmates were going to be there, and he wanted to fit in. When he arrived, everyone was playing a loud game of tag. Casey felt a bit overwhelmed by the noise and excitement. He wondered why he felt different from the others.

The Birthday Party

Casey decided to find a quiet spot in the garden. He sat under a big tree and watched the butterflies dance around. Soon, another boy named Sam joined him. Sam said he also liked the quiet and they began to talk about their favorite books. Casey realized he wasn't alone in feeling different.

At school, Casey's teacher announced an art competition. Casey loved drawing and felt excited to join. He drew a picture of a peaceful forest, just like the one he imagined at the party. When he showed his drawing, his classmates admired his creativity. Casey felt proud and realized his sensitivity helped him see the world in a special way.

Casey learned that being different was actually a strength. He started to embrace his uniqueness and found friends who appreciated him for who he was. At the next party, Casey played tag for a while but also spent time with Sam under the tree. He knew it was okay to be himself, and that made him happy.
