Kala is a service dog who is 4 years old.  Kala is a Belgian Malinois.  Kala was born in Michigan in 2020.  Kala was hand picked for Tim at 7.5 weeks old. Kala's grandfather was on the television show person of interest. Kala completed her basic and advanced obedience training from 6 months to 15 months old.  Kala completed tasks specific training for her Army Veteran Tim who has PTSD. Kala completed her specific task training around 2 years old.  Kala completed her specific task training through Custom Canines Service Dog Academy.  Kala passed both the K9 good citizen and public access test. Kala wears a vest that is visible to people so they know she is a service dog.   Kala lives in Wisconsin.  Kala loves to play frisbee and swim during her downtime or taking a break. Kala loves children but when she is working she has a vest that says do not pet. Kala goes everywhere with Tim even to Disney World.  Kala has traveled on planes many times.  Kala sometimes has to wear shoes is the ground is to cold or to hot.  The same for wearing a jacket if the weather is rainy or frigid. Kala helps Tim everyday with his PTSD with specific ticks Tim has. The Belgian malinois is one of the smartest breeds.  Belgian Malinois want to work all the time.  Belgian malinois are agile and fast.  Belgian Malinois are fast learners and pick up on learning new tasks very quickly. 

Kala the Service Dog

In Michigan, in the year twenty-twenty, a special pup was born, oh so plenty. Kala, a Belgian Malinois, so bright, was chosen for Tim, it felt just right. At seven and a half weeks, they met with glee, a bond was formed, as strong as can be. Kala's grandpa was famous, on TV he'd prance, a star on "Person of Interest," a great chance. Kala was destined for greatness, you see, with Tim by her side, they were meant to be. This little pup, so eager and keen, would grow to be Tim's service dog queen.

Kala's Beginning

Kala started training when she was just six months old, learning to listen, do as she's told. From basic to advanced, she learned with pride, always by Tim's side, never to hide. For nine long months, she trained every day, learning new tasks in a fun, playful way. At Custom Canines, she learned her skill, to help Tim with PTSD, she'd surely fulfill. Obedience and patience, she learned them all, ready to answer Tim's every call. With a wag of her tail and a bark of cheer, Kala was ready for her new career.

Training Begins

Kala wore a vest, bright and clear, it said "Service Dog," for all to hear. People would see and know her task, "Do not pet," it kindly would ask. But children, oh how she loved them so, in her downtime, she'd let her joy show. Playing frisbee and swimming with glee, in these moments, she was truly free. But when on duty, she stood so tall, ready to help Tim with any call. Her vest was her badge, her honor to wear, showing the world how much she cared.

The Special Vest

Kala and Tim traveled far and wide, even to Disney, with Kala as guide. On planes, she'd sit so calm and still, bringing Tim comfort, a soothing thrill. Sometimes Kala wore shoes on her paws, when the ground was too hot, she'd take a pause. In rain or snow, a jacket she'd don, always prepared, from dusk till dawn. No matter the place, no matter the day, Kala was there, come what may. With every adventure, their bond grew strong, together they knew they truly belonged.

Adventures with Tim

One sunny day, they went to the park, where children played from morning till dark. Kala watched over Tim with care, while kids played frisbee, throwing it in the air. Agile and fast, Kala would run, catching the frisbee, bringing it back with fun. Though she loved to play, her eyes stayed keen, always watching, a loyal machine. The children laughed and clapped with glee, as Kala showed her skills for all to see. But when Tim called, she'd return to his side, ready to help with love and pride.

A Day at the Park

On a plane, high up in the sky, Kala sat calmly, while clouds flew by. Tim felt safe with Kala near, her presence soothing, easing his fear. With her paws on the floor, she stayed so still, knowing her job was to keep Tim chill. Passengers smiled at the sight so sweet, a loyal dog, making Tim's trip complete. Through the clouds, they traveled far, Kala's heart as bright as a guiding star. With each journey, their bond grew tight, Kala and Tim, a comforting sight.

The Plane Ride

In Wisconsin, winter came with a chill, snowflakes danced, covering the hill. Kala wore a jacket to keep her warm, protecting her from the frosty storm. With her boots on tight, she trudged through snow, by Tim's side, wherever he'd go. Her breath made clouds in the icy air, but Kala didn't mind, she didn't care. For Tim needed her, and that was enough, she'd brave any weather, no matter how tough. With each step, her love shone bright, keeping Tim safe, day and night.

The Cold Winter Day

On a rainy day, the sky was gray, but Kala and Tim had plans to play. With her raincoat on, Kala was ready, keeping her dry, her steps were steady. Puddles splashed as they walked along, Kala's heart filled with a joyful song. Though the rain fell, it didn't matter, for Tim and Kala, their spirits wouldn't shatter. They walked through the park, side by side, with Kala's loyalty as their guide. Rain or shine, their bond stayed true, a friendship strong, through and through.

The Rainy Day

Her training complete, her tasks well learned, a badge of honor, she truly earned. With every command, she'd swiftly obey, ready to help Tim, come what may. Her achievements shone, like a bright star, a testament to how great they are. With each new day, her skills she'd hone, Kala and Tim, never alone.

The K9 Good Citizen

With each new challenge, she'd rise and shine, showing her skills, one at a time. Agile and quick, she'd dart and dash, completing tasks in a brilliant flash. Her mind was sharp, her heart was true, always ready for something new. With Tim by her side, she'd conquer all, a loyal partner, standing tall.

The Fast Learner
