One sunny afternoon, Kaya was walking home from school when she spotted a small dog looking lost and scared at the corner of her street. The dog had fluffy fur and big, sad eyes that seemed to be searching for something. Kaya approached slowly, not wanting to scare it away. 'Hello there, little one,' she whispered, offering her hand. The dog sniffed her hand and wagged its tail.
