My first Vesak

Dashin woke up early, feeling excited. Today was a special day called Vesak. His family celebrated this Buddhist holiday every year. Dashin's mother dressed him in a bright, colorful outfit. They were going to visit the temple together.

A Special Morning

The Temple Visit

In the evening, Dashin's family went to see the lantern festival. The sky was filled with glowing lanterns of all shapes and colors. Dashin pointed at a lantern shaped like a star. His sister helped him hold a small lantern. They made a wish and let it float up into the sky.
