One day with my kite

John had been waiting for the weekend all week long. He had a new kite, bright and colorful, that he hadn't had the chance to fly yet. Every night, he would look at it before going to sleep, imagining how it would soar. The days seemed longer as his excitement grew.

The Long Wait

Finally, Saturday arrived. The sun was shining, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. John grabbed his kite and ran to the park as fast as his legs could carry him. It was the perfect day for kite flying.

At first, John struggled to get his kite to fly. It would go up, then quickly come crashing down. But he didn't give up. With patience and a little bit of practice, his kite began to catch the wind and climb higher and higher.
