Our Little Nation: A Baby Book for the United States"

A group of Federalists and Anti-Federalists debating under a large oak tree in a town square, with a sense of unity and agreement.

In a little town called Constitution City, two groups were having a debate. There were the Federalists, who wanted a strong central government, and the Anti-Federalists, who worried it gave too much power away. They argued under the big oak tree in the town square every day. Finally, they made a promise to each other: they would add a Bill of Rights to protect the people. With this promise, they all agreed to ratify the Constitution and cheerfully celebrated their new nation!
