There is a girl named petunia who has cancer but doesn’t tell anyone. Everyone makes fun of her because she is bald but they don’t know why. This makes her cry.One day she died at the doctor. The teacher announces this to the school which makes the bully very sad. One day the bully started to feel sick and her hair was falling out. She went to the doctor where she was diagnosed with cancer. She realized that she should not have bullied that girl now that she knew what petunia was going through.

Petunia was the new girl at Oakwood Elementary, quiet and wearing a colorful headscarf every day. Natalie noticed her sitting alone at lunch, looking down at her untouched food. "Why does she always wear those weird scarves?" Natalie whispered to her friends, not realizing Petunia could hear. Petunia's eyes welled with tears as she quickly gathered her things and hurried away.

The New Girl

During gym class, Petunia's scarf slipped, revealing her smooth, bald head. "She doesn't have any hair!" someone shouted, causing everyone to stare. Later that day, their teacher explained that Petunia was undergoing treatment for something called cancer, which made her lose her hair.
