A four year old loves to play with his parents, he likes cars, dinosaurs, blocks, coloring and playing outside 

But everytime he tells his dad to come play with him, he does but after a bit he starts using the phone
"Daddy put the phone down and play with me"

He goes to his mom and says the same thing
"Mommy put the phone down and play with me"
This happens time after time and parents dont realize how important it is to share time with their kids without using technology.

Luke loved to play with his parents. He had many favorite games like cars, dinosaurs, blocks, and coloring. His favorite was playing outside. Every day, he would ask his parents to join him. They always said yes, but something always happened.

One day, Luke asked his dad to play cars with him. Dad said yes and they started racing the cars. But soon, Dad took out his phone. 'Daddy, put the phone down and play with me,' Luke said. Dad put the phone away, but only for a little while.

Another day, Luke asked his mom to color with him. Mom said yes and they started coloring a big picture. But soon, Mom took out her phone. 'Mommy, put the phone down and play with me,' Luke said. Mom put the phone away, but only for a little while.

Luke felt sad when his parents used their phones. He missed the fun they had together. He didn't understand why the phones were more important. Luke tried to play by himself, but it wasn't the same. He wanted his parents to really play with him.

One evening, Luke decided to talk to his parents. 'Mommy, Daddy, I want to play with you without phones,' he said. His parents looked at each other and realized they hadn't noticed. They felt sorry and hugged Luke. They promised to do better.

The next day, they made a new rule. When playing with Luke, no phones were allowed. They put their phones away and played together. They raced cars, built with blocks, and colored pictures. Luke was very happy.
