One sunny morning, without any warning, Ruby and Lela decided to play. On their scooters, they zipped, around corners, they dipped, heading to the park, far away. They saw peacocks with plumes, and flowers in blooms, and squirrels that quickly did dart. With laughter and cheer, the park soon was near, adventure awaiting to start.

The Scooter Ride

In the park so wide, Ruby slides and glides, on swings flying high in the air. Through tunnels, they race, with a joyous pace, finding surprises everywhere. In the sand, they dig deep, treasures to keep, castles and moats taking shape. Together they play, in their own special way, their wonderful moments they tape.

Fun at the Park

With tummies that rumble, back home they stumble, ready for lunch on a plate. A delicious feast, like a grand royal feast, eating up all that they ate. They shared stories and laughs, about ducks and their baths, and the slide that was oh so tall. With bellies now full, feeling joyful and dull, they knew they had given their all.

With eyes growing heavy, in her bed so steady, Ruby was ready to nap. Lela tucked her in tight, kissed her forehead goodnight, and then closed her eyes with a clap. As Ruby dreamed away, of their fun-filled day, Lela sat down with a smile. For tomorrow, you see, as happy as can be, they'd do it all again in a while.
