He burns his paws on the hot sand, eats an ice cream cone but it melts before he eats it, his curiosity sees him being clawed by a big red crab who won't let go, he paddles around on the shore with the children until a huge wave dumps him and he is dragged out to sea and has to be rescued by the lifesavers. Spud is pooped but what an adventure he has had, he will sleep well tonight back in Tinkerton

Spud Goes To The Beach

Spud the country dog was excited. He was going to Stanwell beach on a hot day.

Spud's Beach Day

As soon as Spud reached the beach, he ran onto the hot sand. Ouch! His paws burned from the scorching heat.

Spud spotted an ice cream cone on the ground. He quickly picked it up, but before he could take a bite, it melted all over his nose.

Curiosity struck Spud as he saw a big red crab. He went closer to investigate, and the crab pinched his nose! Spud yelped in surprise.

After the crab incident, Spud decided to cool off in the ocean. He paddled around with the children, having a splashing good time.

Suddenly, a huge wave came crashing towards the shore. Spud got caught in it and was swept away into the deep sea.

Trouble Strikes

Spud found himself struggling in the water. Luckily, the lifesavers spotted him and rushed to rescue him. They brought Spud safely back to the shore.

Exhausted but safe, Spud made his way back to Tinkerton. As he curled up in his cozy bed, he dreamt of the exciting beach adventure he had that day.
