The Ancient Ruins

Spira adjusted her backpack as she and her younger brother Spyros hiked through the dense forest behind their grandparents' village. "I bet we can find something no one else has discovered," she said, her long blonde hair catching the dappled sunlight. Spyros nodded eagerly, his brown hair bouncing as he hopped over a fallen log. Suddenly, he stopped and pointed at an unusual stone path partially hidden by moss and ferns.
