1. two young brothers, Joel (9) and Charlie (7)  find a glowing blue portal under the floorboards of their bedroom
2. they get pulled into the portal and find themselves in another world where dragons are real and can talk
3. they are met by two dragons who are attracted by the glowing portal. They are Iceclaw (a female blue dragon who blows ice) and her brother Firewing (a male red dragon who breathes fire)
4. together they set off the discover the new world they have discovered
5. Iceclaw shares that they are not the first humans to travel through the portal, but it has been a very long time since anyone did so, and they thought humans were just a myth
6. Joel and Charlie learn how to ride the dragons as they fly
7. They discover an upside down waterfall, a village in the clouds, and a forest turned to stone
8. the dragons take the boys back to the portal so they can return home, only to find the portal has been removed and they cannot get home

The dragons under the floorboards

One bedtime, Joel and Charlie found a glowing blue portal under the floorboards of their bedroom. They were curious and decided to take a closer look.

Suddenly, the portal pulled them in, and they found themselves in another world. 

Joel and Charlie were amazed and a little scared.

The Mysterious Portal

Iceclaw, the light blue dragon, talking to the boys while Firewing, the red dragon, grins mischeviously while setting her tail alight by breathing fire on it. The dragon's world with a glowing portal in the background.

Very soon, they were met by two dragons named Iceclaw and Firewing. Iceclaw was a light blue dragon who could blow ice, and Firewing was her brother, a red dragon who could breathe fire.

The dragons had been attracted by the glowing portal. Iceclaw and Firewing welcomed the boys warmly and said they had heard of humans but none had been seen in a long time. Firewing invited Joel and Charlie to come and explore their world with them, and the boys excitedly went with them to explore.

Meeting the Dragons

Iceclaw and Firewing quickly taught Joel and Charlie how to ride on their backs.

They flew over an upside-down waterfall, a village in the clouds, and they even saw a whole forest turned to stone! The boys were thrilled and couldn't believe their eyes.

Adventures in the New World

After their adventures, the dragons took the boys back to the portal so they could return home.

To their surprise and dismay, the portal wasn't there!

Joel and Charlie were worried, but Iceclaw and Firewing reassured them. They promised to help the boys find a way back home. Together, they set off on a new quest to restore the portal.
