The Sunshine Flower

Mother lying in the bed sleepng wearing white night gown. Maya and Lyla giving the sunshine flower to their mother.

Once upon a time, deep in a small, cozy village lived two sisters named Maya and Lyla. Maya, the elder, was brave and caring, and Lyla, her little sister, was bright-eyed and always full of questions. One rainy morning, as the sky was still dim and heavy, the girls sat beside their mother’s bed, watching her breathe faintly, her face pale and her hands cold. Their mother had fallen very ill, and despite all the herbs and care, nothing seemed to help. But Maya remembered an old tale their grandmother used to tell—a tale of the rare Sunshine Flower, hidden deep within the Darkwood Forest. It was said this golden flower held the power to heal any sickness, no matter how grave.
