a boy named Vovka gets from modernity (at that time, the 2024s) to the fabulous Faraway Kingdom through a wonderful book. In this magical place, he meets many fairy-tale characters: the king, queens, princesses, wizards, evil wolves and many others.

Immediately after arriving in the Faraway Kingdom, Vovka gets into adventures. He has to save a princess in trouble. During his adventures, he encounters various twists and turns, solves puzzles and overcomes obstacles using his mind, resourcefulness and ingenuity.

The story is humorous, teaches important life values such as friendship, courage and intelligence. In the end, Vovka manages not only to save the princess, but also to return home to his own time, where his relatives are already waiting for him.

Vovka in the Faraway Kingdom

Vovka found a book, covered in gold. He opened it up, stories untold. The words began to shimmer and glow, and suddenly Vovka was ready to go. He found himself in a land so grand, with castles and forests and beaches of sand. He looked around in pure delight, knowing this would be a magical night.

Vovka walked up to a castle so tall, its walls were thick and wouldn't fall. Inside he met a king so wise, with kindness shining in his eyes. 'Welcome, Vovka,' the king did say, 'In this kingdom, you will not stray.' The king told tales of joy and cheer, and Vovka felt he had no fear.

One day, a message came in haste, the princess was in a tricky place. She was trapped by an evil spell, in a dark and gloomy well. Vovka knew he had to act, to save the princess, that's a fact. He grabbed his map and packed his gear, ready to face his biggest fear.

The Princess in Trouble

Vovka found a path so old, with riddles written in letters bold. 'Solve this puzzle,' the sign did say, 'And you can continue on your way.' He thought and thought, then had a clue, 'It’s the sun that rises, making the sky blue.' The path then opened, clear and bright, Vovka continued with all his might.

The First Puzzle

Vovka met a wizard, kind and wise, with a long beard and sparkling eyes. 'I’ll help you on your quest,' he said, 'To save the princess from her dread.' He gave Vovka a magic wand, and a potion from a crystal pond. 'Use these tools when in need, they’ll help you in your noble deed.'

The Friendly Wizard

Vovka entered a forest, dark and deep, where shadows moved and creatures creep. He used his wand to light the way, and kept the scary beasts at bay. He heard a howl, a wolf so near, but Vovka faced it without fear. With courage strong and heart so true, he knew exactly what to do.

Vovka reached a bridge, old and frail, it swung and swayed like a ship's sail. To cross it, he must answer right, three questions posed by a glowing light. He answered each with wit and grace, and crossed the bridge at a steady pace. On the other side, he took a rest, knowing he had passed the test.

The Bridge of Challenges

Vovka came upon a pack of wolves, with eyes that glowed like fiery coals. They growled and snarled, ready to fight, but Vovka stood tall in the night. He used the potion, just a drop, and the wolves' aggression came to a stop. They turned friendly, wagging their tails, and Vovka continued on his trails.

The Evil Wolves
