1. the farm team goes to Toronto to compete in the Royal Winter Fair for the goat club.  The dogs Duke and Daisy waive goodbye as the team leaves the farm for the city.
2. there are teams from all over Ontario and Canada to compete in the goat competition
3. Grace is a top showman for the goats while Malinda is just learning.
4. The competition was tough but Grace led the team to some victories.  
5. Malinda and her goat River did not win but became better friends.
6. Ian and Mr. Knox looked on with curiosity and amazement as the young goat showman did their thing.
7.  All the emotions passed on the day and it was such fun that they will compete again next year.

When The Country Come To The City Fair

On the farm, the team prepared to go, to the city fair, with excitement in tow. Duke and Daisy, the dogs, waved goodbye, as the farm team left with a cheerful sigh. River the goat, with her chipped horn, was ready for the adventure, feeling reborn.

The Journey Begins

In Toronto, the fair was bustling and bright, with teams from all over, a wonderful sight. Goats from Ontario and beyond were there, ready to compete with flair and care. Grace and Malinda, with their goats in tow, felt the excitement of the fair's vibrant glow.

The City Fair Arrival

Grace, the top showman, took the stage, with Janet the goat, the best in her age. She led with skill, and the crowd did cheer, her confidence shining, without any fear. Malinda watched closely, learning each move, eager to improve and find her own groove.

Malinda and River stepped into the ring, feeling nervous but ready to give it a swing. River's chipped horn was a badge of pride, as they walked together, side by side. Though they didn't win, their bond grew strong, learning together where they belong.

The judges announced the winners with care, as excitement and tension filled the air. Grace and Janet took home a prize, with smiles and joy lighting up their eyes. Malinda clapped for her friend with glee, proud of their efforts, as good friends should be.

Ian and Mister Knox watched with delight, the young showmen's skills were quite a sight. They marveled at the goats and their grace, impressed by the teamwork in this lively place. The fair was a wonder, a joy to behold, with stories of triumph that never grow old.
