The Little Boy That Changed History

A vast valley with two armies facing each other. On one side, frightened Israelite Soldiers behind King Saul wearing a golden crown and royal robes. On the other side, Goliath of Gath, a towering giant wearing bronze armor and holding a massive spear.

Once upon a time, in a faraway land called Israel, there was a young shepherd boy named David. David was the youngest of eight brothers. He wasn’t big or strong like his older brothers, but he had a kind heart, and he loved God with all his might. David spent his days watching over his family’s sheep. He played his harp and sang beautiful songs to God while keeping an eye out for any danger. He was brave, and he wasn’t afraid to chase away the wild animals that tried to harm his sheep. David knew that God was always with him, protecting him. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)
